We can deliver our courses here at our premises or on site at your school.

Touch Typing Course Overview

These courses have been running for over 17 years, teaching the art of typing without looking at the keyboard in a fun, motivating and multi-sensory way.

This course is run by Seth & Delia Gascoigne, two highly experienced Specialist Teachers.

There is an even spread of ages and abilities and course groups are kept very small to ensure plenty of

one-to-one attenti on and differentiation.

Children as young as 8 and up to the age of 17 years learn the skill of typing accurately. Advanced students learn skills which include: dictation, note-taking and real time typing under timed conditions.

Typically students will use this skill to help develop muscle memory for spellings, correct use of punctuation, getting thoughts onto paper, 11+, GCSE and A Level exams. Students have used this course to satisfy the skill set requirement for their Duke of Edinburgh award.

Follow up help and advice is offered, as are intermediate and advanced courses.

Absolutely amazing course. Don’t think my son has ever enjoyed a school holiday course so much and Delia was right he did want to do his homework! Jake wasn’t able to do any touch typing at the start o the week, but able to by the end of the week, incredible! Delia told me this would be the case but I didn’t believe it. My 2 children are not natural keen beans when it comes to anything ‘school-related’ and so I was very hesitant to tell them that they would be spending 5 mornings of their precious holiday doing a touch-typing course  but they absolutely loved it and left me gobsmacked 6 months later when they asked if they could go back. Delia and Seth made the TT course great fun and both kids made huge strides in the skill.
This is a wonderful course for all kids! Delia and Seth are incredibly enthusiastic and have so much experience. They create a very nurturing and supportive environment where the kids have fun while learning to touch type. My son has attended 2 of their courses and is looking forward to his third!
